Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP) facilitators are needed for an exciting new opportunity in the LOMPOC Federal Prison!!! A new warden, who had AVP workshops in his previous post in upstate New York, is enthusiastic about having AVP workshops in the Medium Security facility at Lompoc. He has directed his staff to give us what we need to make it happen! PLEASE respond ASAP if you are willing and able to go to Lompoc to facilitate AVP workshops. Because AVP has not been in Lompoc for many years and is in only 5 other Federal prisons in the country, we expect there will be NO trained facilitators inside, so we need lots of outside facilitators for these workshops.
