Expungement is a court-ordered process in which the legal record of an arrest or a criminal conviction is removed from general view. When a conviction is expunged, the case is dismissed and the process “sets aside a criminal conviction”. The person whose record is expunged may, for most purposes, treat the event as if it never occurred. See flyer for upcoming dates and times.
